How do people experience their recreational drug use?
What role do emotions play in this?
And how can health promotion be designed in a realistic and acceptance-oriented way?
A current research project at Sigmund Freud University is investigating these questions. The focus is on an online survey aimed at people who use recreational drugs. In addition to consumption behavior, topics such as emotional state, dealing with feelings and information behavior are also examined.
In addition to removing taboos from the topic of recreational drug use , the main aim of the study is to derive consumer-oriented, acceptance-oriented options for improving health in recreational drug use. The answers will contribute to a better understanding of subjective experiences as well as individual needs and possibilities and to further research accordingly.
🕒 Duration of the survey: approx. 20-30 minutes
