Substances can be present in different forms. For qualitative results, our laboratory refers to a specific manifestation in each case. This is indicated in the result after the substance.

Example: Cocaine*HCl

Cocaine*HCl describes that the result refers to cocaine in the form of hydrochloride.

The following forms of appearance are currently used by our laboratory:

*HCl (hydrochloride)

*fb (free base)

*Tartrate (Tartrate)

*Na (sodium)

*Lactam (Lactam)
