4-MeA is a stimulant that causes a release of the monoamine neurotransmitters. Similar to MDMA, these are dopamine, noradrenaline and serotonin.
Forms of appearance:
As a medicine
The release of the three neurotransmitters dopamine, noradrenalin and serotonin has a euphoric effect and is often compared to MDMA. However, there is an increased stimulation, which makes the effect more comparable to amphetamine. It is suspected that 4-MeA already has an effect in very low doses and thus a refilling can trigger negative effects and even lead to a serotonin syndrome.
4-MeA can cause serotonin syndrome. It is also suspected to be highly neurotoxic. In connection with 4-MeA, there have already been cases of poisoning or unexplained deaths in several countries (Netherlands, Belgium and Great Britain). Since 4-MeA is still an unexplored substance about which only little information is known, it is strongly advised not to consume it!
Avoid mixed use and always have your amphetamine chemically analysed if possible.
