MDEA is closely related to MDMA. It differs from MDMA mainly in how well one's own feelings are perceived(entactogenic effect), how strongly empathic states(empathic effect) and hallucinogenic effects occur.
MDEA (3,4-methylenedioxyethylamphetamine) is a synthetic amphetamine derivative that rarely occurs with MDMA in pills.
