Aim of the study:
The study uses a smartphone app to investigate the characteristics of unwanted, uncontrollably imposing memories (so-called intrusions) before or during cocaine craving/addiction. The aim of the study is to better characterise the intrusions and to better understand underlying mechanisms.
Effort:
The study consists of a one-time appointment at the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich (duration 2-3 hours), daily answering of questions via a smartphone app for 14 days, and a concluding telephone conversation.
Conditions of participation:
- 20-60 years
- Owning your own smartphone
- Experiencing intrusions with regular cocaine use
- Good knowledge of German
Compensation:
Compensation for study participation is CHF 100-120.
