5-MeO-DiPT sold as methylone
Risk assessment
The substance 5-MeO-DiPT is a hallucinogenic tryptamine which has a similar chemical structure as 5-MeO-MiPT. The effect of 5-MeO-DiPT is not comparable to that of methylone and can quickly lead to an unpleasant effect if confused. 5-MeO-DiPT is often perceived very differently by the users. From positive effects such as euphoria, pleasant body sensation, empathy, increased sensory perception (hearing, seeing, tasting, etc.), aphrodisiac effect, to negative effects such as states of confusion and anxiety, muscle tension, stomach problems, diarrhoea, vomiting, sweating and a general physical malaise.
Moreover, since 5-MeO-DiPT (3-30 mg) is dosed much lower than methylone (60-250 mg), misdeclaration of these substances can quickly lead to overdose and unknown adverse health effects.
There is hardly any information available on the risks, side effects, toxicity and long-term effects of 5-MeO-DiPT. The consumption of this substance is therefore not recommended.
In the case of powders and crystals, false declarations occur time and again; it is therefore also essential to have these chemically analysed before consumption!

Have your substances tested in a Drug Checking
Testing
If you do not have the possibility to have substances analysed, always test a small amount to avoid overdoses.
Wait and see
Wait 2 hours after oral intake, as there are always powders / crystals in circulation with unexpected active ingredients, which can have a later onset of action.
Utensils
Always use your own sniffing utensils when applying powders nasally (sniffing) to avoid infecting yourself or others with diseases.
