Risk assessment

This powder, declared as MDMA, contains a small amount of MDMA as well as mephedrone (4-MMC).

Since MDMA is dosed somewhat lower than mephedrone, there is a risk that the typical MDMA effect (especially the euphoric and emphatic effects) will not be pronounced in the event of a mix-up or, as in this case, a misdeclaration, and that a high dose of mephedrone will therefore be taken too quickly!

Although mephedrone has a similar effect to MDMA, it is less euphoric and empathy-enhancing in comparison and more performance-enhancing. An overdose of mephedrone can lead to dry mouth, jaw grinding, increased heart rate and a rise in body temperature. On a psychological level, inner restlessness, anxiety or paranoia may occur. Mephedrone is a new psychoactive substance. To date, nothing is known about the exact mechanisms of action, toxicity and possible long-term effects. The current state of knowledge is based almost exclusively on reports from users.

The small amount of MDMA is not perceived when consumed and does not pose any additional health risk.

False declarations also occur time and again with powders and crystalline samples; it is therefore essential to have these tested before consumption!

Analysis

Have your substances tested in a Drug Checking

Testing

If you do not have the possibility to have substances analysed, always test a small amount to avoid overdoses.

Wait and see

Wait 2 hours after oral intake, as there are always powders / crystals in circulation with unexpected active ingredients, which can have a later onset of action.

Utensils

Always use your own sniffing utensils when applying powders nasally (sniffing) to avoid infecting yourself or others with diseases.
