In addition to MDMA, M-alpha-HMCA was detected in this XTC tablet. M-alpha-HMCA is not an extender, but a synthetic impurity. Since there is hardly any information available on the effects, risks, side effects, toxicity and long-term consequences of M-alpha-HMCA, the consumption of this tablet poses an additional, unknown health risk.
Synthetic impurities indicate improper manufacture. The interaction potential of M-alpha-HMCA with MDMA is completely unknown.
