Donkey Kong (3-MMC + synthesis impurity)

Risk assessment
This tablet sold as an MDMA pill does not contain MDMA but the New Psychoactive Substance 3-MMC (3-methylmethcathinone) and at least one synthetic impurity.
3-MMC belongs to the group of cathinones and is closely related to mephedrone. Compared to mephedrone, the effects of 3-MMC are described as milder and less euphoric. Craving is very pronounced with 3-MMC and the dependence potential is significantly higher than with other empathogens such as MDMA or methylone. At high doses, there is a possibility of serotonin syndrome.
Due to the different spectrum of action compared to MDMA, there is a risk of refilling and thus taking a high dose of 3-MMC.
Synthesis impurities indicate improper manufacturing. No reliable information is available on the risks, side effects, long-term effects and toxicity of synthetic impurities. The interaction potential of the impurities with 3-MMC is completely unknown. For this reason, consumption of this tablet poses an additional, unknown health risk.
3-MMChas hardly been researched, which is why consumption is discouraged.
