Risk assessment

This sample declared as ketamine does not contain ketamine, but MDMA. It is most likely a crushed MDMA pill.

MDMA is a synthetic amphetamine derivative and belongs to the group of entactogenic and empathogenic stimulants. MDMA is characterized by a pleasant body sensation, light-heartedness and an increased need for contact. In contrast to ketamine, MDMA does not belong to the group of dissociatives. The dissociative effect to be expected with ketamine does not occur with the consumption of MDMA. In addition, the duration of action of MDMA is much longer than that of ketamine at 4 to 6 hours. MDMA is usually consumed orally, ketamine nasally. If MDMA is snorted, it burns strongly in the nose, unlike ketamine.

Over 1.5 mg MDMA per kg body weight for men and 1.3 mg per kg body weight for women is too much (e.g. woman 60 kg x 1.3 = max. 78 mg MDMA). Side effects such as "jaw grinding", eye and nerve twitching and even seizures can occur. On subsequent days, after taking such high doses of MDMA, depression, poor concentration, sleep disorders and loss of appetite occur more frequently. Regular use of large quantities of MDMA is neurotoxic and increases the likelihood of irreparable brain damage.

Testing

If you do not have the possibility to have substances analysed, always test a small amount to avoid overdoses.

Wait and see

Wait 2 hours after oral intake, as there are always powders / crystals in circulation with unexpected active ingredients, which can have a later onset of action.

Utensils

When snorting or injecting powders, always use your own equipment to avoid infecting yourself or others with diseases.
