N-methylpentylone sold as 4-MMC

This powder declared as 4-MMC (mephedrone) does not contain 4-MMC, but the New Psychoactive Substance N-Methylpentylone. On the internet it is often stated as dimethylpentylone or dipentylone.
N-methylpentylone belongs to the cathinone group and is closely related to pentylone in terms of chemical structure. As this is a new psychoactive substance that has hardly been researched scientifically, no reliable statements can be made about risks, side effects, toxicity and long-term consequences.
