Dimethylpentylone sold as 3-MMC
Risk assessment
One sample declared as 3-MMC did not contain 3-MMC but dimethylpentylone.
Dimethylpentylone (also known as dipentylone) is a stimulant from the cathinone group. The effects of 3-MMC and dimethylpentylone are probably similar due to their chemical relationship. Users report a stimulating and euphoric effect. Side effects reported include heart palpitations, headaches, anxiety, irritability, and weakness. In addition, it must be assumed that the consumption of dimethylpentylone can trigger a strong craving for further consumption (craving). There is little reliable information on dosage, side effects, toxicity and long-term effects.

Due to the lack of scientific studies on dimethylpentylone, we advise against its consumption! False declarations are often made for powders and crystalline samples; it is therefore essential to have them tested before consumption.

Have your substances tested in a Drug Checking
Testing
If you do not have the possibility to have substances analysed, always test a small amount to avoid overdoses.
Wait and see
Wait 2 hours after oral intake, as there are always powders / crystals in circulation with unexpected active ingredients, which can have a later onset of action.
Utensils
Always use your own sniffing utensils when applying powders nasally (sniffing) to avoid infecting yourself or others with diseases.
