Risk assessment

A sample sold as cocaine did not contain cocaine, but ketamine.

Ketamine is an anesthetic and comes in liquid form or as a white, crystalline powder or crystals. As ketamine is usually dosed much lower than cocaine and, when snorted, triggers dissociative effects (body-mind separation) at doses as low as 30 mg, confusion with cocaine can lead to an unpleasant and psychologically overwhelming effect. If a subsequent dose is taken due to the non-typical cocaine effect, a strong narcotic effect can occur.

Consumption is not advised!

False declarations often occur with powders and crystalline samples; it is therefore essential to have these tested before consumption or to test newly purchased substances!

Analysis

Have your substances tested in a Drug Checking

Testing

If you do not have the possibility to have substances analysed, always test a small amount to avoid overdoses.

Wait and see

Wait 2 hours after oral intake, as there are always powders / crystals in circulation with unexpected active ingredients, which can have a later onset of action.

Utensils

Always use your own sniffing utensils when applying powders nasally (sniffing) to avoid infecting yourself or others with diseases.
