4-CMC, 3-CMC and MDMA sold as 4-CMC

This sample, declared as 4-CMC, contained 3-CMC and a large amount of MDMA in addition to the expected active ingredient 4-CMC.
Both 4-CMC and 3-CMC (clophedrone) are New Psychoactive Substances and belong to the synthetic cathinones of the amphetamine group. Little information is available on risks, side effects and long-term consequences. It is assumed that 3-CMC and 4-CMC have a very high neurotoxic effect. The chemical structure is similar to 3-MMC and 4-MMC (mephedrone). 3-CMC and 4-CMC are often marketed on the internet as mephedrone substitutes. Due to the lack of scientific studies on 3-CMC and 4-CMC as well as the potentially neurotoxic effect of both substances, we advise against their use! Completely unknown is the mixed use of the substances as well as the mixed use with MDMA.
