Risk assessment

This sample, declared as MDMA , was not MDMA but ketamine.

Ketamine is an anesthetic and is available in liquid form as a solution or as a white, crystalline powder. The substance is swallowed in slightly higher doses than MDMA. Since snorted ketamine triggers dissociative effects (body-mind separation) at doses as low as 100 mg, confusion with MDMA can lead to an unpleasant and psychologically overwhelming effect. If a subsequent dose is taken due to the non-MDMA-typical effect, this can lead to a strong narcotic effect or out-of-body experiences (K-Hole).

With powders and crystalline samples there are always false declarations and impurities; it is therefore essential to have these tested before consumption!

Analysis

Have your substances tested in a Drug Checking

Testing

If you do not have the possibility to have substances analysed, always test a small amount to avoid overdoses.

Wait and see

Wait 2 hours after oral intake, as there are always powders / crystals in circulation with unexpected active ingredients, which can have a later onset of action.

Utensils

When snorting or injecting powders, always use your own equipment to avoid infecting yourself or others with diseases.
