MDMA with 3-CMC

In addition to MDMA, this sample declared as MDMA also contained 3-CMC and an indeterminable quantity of synthetic impurities.
3-CMC (3-chloromethcathinone, clophedrone) is a new psychoactive substance (NPS). There is hardly any information available on the risks, side effects and long-term consequences of 3-CMC. It is assumed that 3-CMC has a high neurotoxic effect. The chemical structure is similar to that of 3-MMC and 4-MMC (mephedrone) and is often marketed on the internet as a substitute for mephedrone. Compared to 3-MMC, 3-CMC is dosed slightly lower.
In addition, an indeterminable amount of synthetic impurities was detected. Synthesis impurities indicate improper manufacture. No reliable information is available on the risks, side effects, long-term effects and toxicity of synthetic impurities. The interaction potential of the impurity with MDMA is completely unknown.
