MDMA and 3-CMC sold as MDMA

Risk assessment
A sample declared as MDMA contained, in addition to MDMA additionally 3-CMC (3-chloromethcathinone, clophedrone).
3-CMC is a new psychoactive substance (NPS). There is hardly any information available on the risks, side effects and long-term consequences of 3-CMC. It is assumed that 3-CMC has a high neurotoxic effect.
Although 3-CMC is consumed in slightly lower doses than MDMA and shows some similar effects, the effect profile differs significantly: the substance is usually less empathy-enhancing, but more stimulating and can lead to restlessness, irritability and insomnia. In addition, the effect is often shorter and less predictable than with MDMA - which makes its use particularly risky.
The risk increases in particular if - as in this sample - 3-CMC is consumed unknowingly and pure MDMA is mistakenly assumed: in such cases, the dosage may be higher, which further increases the risk of adverse effects and overdose.
Due to the lack of scientific studies on 3-CMC, the potentially neurotoxic effect and the unknown health risk associated with the simultaneous consumption of MDMA and 3-CMC, we advise against its use!
False declarations often occur with powders and crystals; it is therefore essential to have these substances analyzed in a drug check. If you are unable to use a drug checking service, always test a small amount first.

Utensils
When snorting or injecting powders, always use your own equipment to avoid infecting yourself or others with diseases.
