2-MMC (2-methylmethcathinone) is an NPS (new psychoactive substance) from the cathinone group. 2-MMC is often marketed on the internet as mephedrone (4-MMC) or a 3-MMC substitute. According to user reports, the effect of 2-MMC is compared to the effect of amphetamine (performance-enhancing and stimulating). In contrast to MDMA, the effect of 2-MMC is described as less euphoric. If these two substances are confused, there is a risk of overdosing, as there is no typical MDMA effect. This increases the risk of unintentionally consuming a high dose of 2-MMC.
There is hardly any information available on the effects, side effects and long-term consequences of 2-MMC. Consumption of this substance therefore involves unknown risks. Regular consumption and high doses also increase the risk potential. If you nevertheless decide to use this substance, we strongly recommend that you adhere to the safer use messages. Due to a lack of information and the associated risks, which are difficult to assess, we advise against regular use.
In addition, at least one synthetic impurity was detected in this sample. Synthesis impurities indicate improper manufacture.
