α-PVP sold as 3-MMC

A sample declared as 3-MMC on the Darknet contained only alpha-PVP (α-PVP, also known as A-PVP or Flakka) instead of 3-MMC.
Like 3-MMC, alpha-PVP belongs to the group of synthetic cathinones and is structurally related to 3-MMC, but is many times more potent and riskier. Alpha-PVP is a highly potent stimulant that has been compared to methamphetamine in its effects and can trigger extreme euphoria, but also persecution anxiety and aggressive behavior patterns. There is a high risk of overdose, as alpha-PVP is many times more potent than 3-MMC.
While 3-MMC is typically consumed in doses of 100-200mg, with alpha-PVP just 5-15mg is an active dose. A habitual 3-MMC dosage would result in a massive and potentially life-threatening overdose. Alpha-PVP triggers an extreme urge to re-dose and has a very high addictive potential. Alpha-PVP has also been linked to several deaths and psychotic episodes throughout Europe. No reliable information is available on the exact dosage, side effects and long-term consequences. Due to the extremely high potency, the unpredictable effects and the high risk of overdose, consumption is strongly discouraged!
Especially with cathinones such as 3-MMC or 4-MMC, there are currently extremely frequent misdeclarations; it is therefore essential to have these tested before consumption and to test a very small amount after purchase!
