XANAX (flubromazolam)

Risk assessment
This tablet, sold on the internet as Xanax, did not contain the expected benzodiazepine alprazolam, but flubromazolam.
Flubromazolam is a very potent New Psychoactive Substance (NPS) from the benzodiazepine group and has never been researched and approved for human use. Flubromazolam is dosed lower and has a longer duration of action than the active substance alprazolam contained in Xanax. For this reason, there is a risk of overdose if these substances are misdeclared. Flubromazolam has an even higher dependence potential compared to other benzodiazepines.
Mixed use with other depressant substances and dissociatives can lead to unconsciousness and life-threatening respiratory depression. Flubromazolam is an unresearched substance. There is little reliable information regarding risks, toxicity, side effects and long-term consequences.
Consumption is not advised!
