Risk assessment

Two samples declared as ketamine contained 2-fluorodechloroketamine instead of ketamine.

2-Fluorodeschloroketamine belongs to the group of dissociatives, is a ketamine analogue and is very similar to ketamine in structure. 2-Fluorodeschloroketamine is often marketed and sold on the internet as New Psychoactive Substances (NPS). According to user reports, the onset of action is somewhat later, the duration of action somewhat longer, and it produces a weaker effect than ketamine. Due to the later onset of action, there is a risk of dosing too early and thus consuming an unintentionally high dose. There is hardly any reliable information available on the side effects, toxicity and long-term risks of this substance, which is why its use entails an unknown health risk. We therefore advise against the consumption of this substance!

With new psychoactive substances (NPS) there are always false declarations; it is therefore essential to have these substances tested as well!

Analysis

Have your substances tested in a Drug Checking

Testing

If you do not have the possibility to have substances analysed, always test a small amount to avoid overdoses.

Wait and see

Wait 2 hours after oral intake, as there are always powders / crystals in circulation with unexpected active ingredients, which can have a later onset of action.

Utensils

Always use your own sniffing utensils when applying powders nasally (sniffing) to avoid infecting yourself or others with diseases.
