Cocaine with ephedrine

In this sample, which was declared as cocaine, ephedrine was also detected. Ephedrine is the main active ingredient of the ephedra plant, but is also produced synthetically for medical use. Ephedrine belongs to the group of stimulants. In this sample, ephedrine was most likely added as an extender. It must be assumed that in addition to the 29.3% cocaine, a large amount of ephedrine is contained. This combination increases the strain on the cardiovascular system in particular, as both substances are stimulants. Consumption is not recommended!
