Mephedrone sold as 2-MMC

One sample declared as 2-MMC did not contain 2-MMC, but mephedrone (4-MMC).
4-MMC belongs to the cathinone group. The effect of 4-MMC is mainly empathogenic (increasing empathy), entactogenic (intensifying emotions), stimulating, euphoric and aphrodisiac. According to user reports, the effect of 2-MMC tends to be compared with 2-FA or amphetamine (performance-enhancing and stimulating). Thus, in the event of a false declaration, as in this case, there is an increased risk that the desired effect will not occur and that a high dose of 4-MMC will be consumed unintentionally.
There is hardly any information available on the effects, side effects and long-term consequences of this substance. Consumption of this substance therefore involves unknown risks.
