Risk assessment

This substance sold as ketamine did not contain ketamine, but the new psychoactive substance MXE (methoxetamine, 3-MeO-2'-Oxo-PCE, "Special M").

MXE is closely related to ketamine, but is dosed lower than ketamine, which increases the risk of overdose. In addition, the MXE effect occurs later and lasts longer, which can lead to mental overload. There is little research on MXE, but there is scientific evidence that MXE is more toxic than ketamine and is associated with more severe mood swings. In addition, an unknown substance was detected in the sample - this could possibly be a synthetic impurity, but cannot be determined.

There is hardly any information available on the effects, side effects and long-term consequences of MXE. Consumption of this substance therefore involves unknown risks. Regular use and high doses also increase the risk potential. If you decide to use this substance anyway, we strongly recommend that you follow the safer use messages/safer use tips.

Testing

If you do not have the possibility to have substances analysed, always test a small amount to avoid overdoses.

Wait and see

Wait 2 hours after oral intake, as there are always powders / crystals in circulation with unexpected active ingredients, which can have a later onset of action.

Utensils

When snorting or injecting powders, always use your own equipment to avoid infecting yourself or others with diseases.
