Risk assessment

One sample declared as ketamine did not contain ketamine, but 3-CMC (3-chloromethcathinone, clophedrone).

3-CMC is a new psychoactive substance (NPS). There is hardly any information available on the risks, side effects and long-term consequences of 3-CMC. It is assumed that 3-CMC has a high neurotoxic effect.

Due to the lack of scientific studies on 3-CMC as well as the potentially neurotoxic effect of 3-CMC, we advise against its consumption!

The spectrum of action of the two substances is completely different. In addition, ketamine is effective at a much lower dosage, so that the expected effect does not materialize. It is important not to overdose and thus run the risk of inadvertently ingesting the wrong substance.

In the case of powders and crystals, misdeclarations occur time and again; it is therefore essential to have these substances analyzed in a drug check.

Analysis

Testing

If you do not have the possibility to have substances analysed, always test a small amount to avoid overdoses.

Wait and see

Wait 2 hours after oral intake, as there are always powders / crystals in circulation with unexpected active ingredients, which can have a later onset of action.

Utensils

When snorting or injecting powders, always use your own equipment to avoid infecting yourself or others with diseases.
