Methamphetamine with 3-CMC

This powder, sold as methamphetamine, is a mixture of 3-CMC and methamphetamine. In addition to 3-CMC, a synthetic impurity was detected.
3-CMC (clophedrone, 3-chloromethcathinone) is a stimulant (upper) of the cathinone group and is one of the New Psychoactive Substances (NPS). There is hardly any information available on the risks, side effects and long-term consequences of 3-CMC. It is assumed that 3-CMC has a high neurotoxic effect. The dosage of 3-CMC is generally lower than that of methamphetamine.
However, there is a risk that a high dose of 3-CMC may be consumed unintentionally due to the lack of methamphetamine effect.
There is no information available on the interaction of the substances.
