This sample, sold as methamphetamine , contained isopropylbenzylamine and a small amount of methamphetamine.
Isopropylbenzylamine is an isomer of methamphetamine. It is used as an extender or substitute for methampetamine. Since little information is available regarding the effects, risks, side effects, toxicity, and long-term consequences of isopropylbenzylamine, the use of this sample poses an additional, unknown health risk. Users report severe headaches and confusion after use.
